International & Inter-institutional Cooperation

Congratulations to Professor Veronika Cohen!

The European Union's fund Erasmus+ has awarded a grant (KA107: Mobility for Higher Education Staff between Programme and Partner Countries), for a research project that focuses on the opportunities to implement Veronika Cohen’s Musical Mirrors Method in primary schools in Poland.

The pilot project was carried out by the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance (head of the project: prof. Veronika Cohen), the Academy of Music in Gdansk (coordinator: Gabriela Karin Konkol, PhD) and the Academy of Music in Kraków (coordinator: Anna Kalarus, PhD) in 2018.

The main aim of the joined project is to incorporate the Musical Mirrors Method into the Music Education curriculum. The grant is intended for training for staff members of both institutions.
