The Sharon Tabor-Pintz Memorial Competition is held annually by the Faculty of Performing Arts. Participants include students from the Keyboard Instruments Department, the String Instruments Department, the Wind and Percussion Instruments Department, and the Classical Vocal Department.

The first-prize winners of the Concerto Competition take part in a concert held during the following academic year. The prize-giving ceremony takes place as part of the concert.

Sharon Tabor-Pintz served as the public relations and advertising officer of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and her parents are the donors of the prizes.
