Classical Performance and Conducting Track
Specialization within the Master of Music program
נגני כלי מיתר

The Classical Performance and Conducting Track for the Master of Music degree (M.Mus) is designed to train musicians, singers, and conductors at the highest level. It combines intensive practical work, the expansion of theoretical knowledge, and practical preparation for a professional career on stage.

The track focuses on several key areas: the major field of study, which includes individualized, one-on-one specialization in an instrument, including Baroque instruments, classical voice, or orchestral or choral conducting; practical requirements, including active participation in musical ensembles, orchestras, or choirs, as well as the completion of a final recital or practical conducting examination; theoretical courses, including advanced seminars in theory, music history, and musical analysis, tailored to the student’s individual specialization; and research options, including a choice between an artist track, focused on performance, and a research track, which includes the writing of a thesis as the final project.
