The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance holds several annual classical guitar competitions each year: a competition for young musicians up to age 14, a competition for youth aged 14–16, and a competition for youth aged 16–20.

The artistic director of the competitions is Prof. Yossi Yerushalmi.
