Ismael Huertas Gómez

Ismael Huertas Gómez is an accomplished classical violinist, chamber musician, and music educator. Known for his versatility and international background, his work spans orchestral performances, diverse chamber music ensembles, and higher education pedagogy.

He began his musical path at a young age, eventually earning a Graduate Degree in Music (Violin) from the Conservatorio Superior de Castellón. He later pursued extensive advanced training across Europe and the Middle East, including studies at the:

- Conservatorio Santa Cecilia (Rome)
- Accademia Teatro alla Scala (Milan)
- Scuola dell’Opera del Teatro Comunale (Bologna)
- Carinthian Academy of Orchestral Studies (Austria)
- Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he completed a Master in Performing Arts, studying with Mr. Lihay Bendayan, and obtaining excellent qualifications.

Additionally, he holds a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training from the University of Valladolid and a Master’s Degree in Musical Research from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM).

His career as an orchestral and chamber musician features collaborations with notable ensembles worldwide:

- Orchestral Work: He has performed with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, Hulencourt Soloists Chamber Orchestra (Brussels), Filarmónica del Teatro Comunale de Bologna, Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico de Vicenza, Orchestra Sinfonica Rossini di Pesaro, Orquesta Filarmonía de Madrid, and CLM Sinfónica, among others.
- Chamber Music: He leads and performs in several ensembles, including Dúo Azuer (violin duo), Dúo Cítara (violin and guitar), EIMA Quartet, and Manouche à Trois. He has also shared the stage in recitals with acclaimed pianists such as Andrea Bacchetti and Francisco Escoda.
- Crossover Projects: Displaying an interest in diverse genres, he co-founded the folk metal band Erranza, worked with the rockabilly group Gris Gris, performed gypsy jazz with Gypsy Cecil in Rome, and explored oriental music with the ensemble Hudud. His recordings include collaborations with composer Óscar Navarro and sessions for the Italian broadcaster RAI.

He currently serves as a faculty instructor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM).

His educational outreach includes teaching internationally as a former faculty member at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Bethlehem, conducting masterclasses at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the ""Victoriano López"" Conservatory in Honduras, and the University of Bologna, and collaborating as an external instructor for multiple Italian music conservatories.
