Dr. Fadi Deeb is an internationally acclaimed pianist who has established his reputation on the global music scene as both a soloist and a chamber musician. Among his notable achievements are first prizes at the Roma per Jerusalem Competition (2008) and the Ackerman Chamber Music Competition (2011). In 2012, he won the Stony Brook University Concerto Competition, leading to his American debut as a soloist with the university orchestra in a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
Dr. Deeb holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he studied under Professor Eitan Globerson, and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree from Stony Brook University, where he studied with Professor Gilbert Kalish. Throughout his studies, he received numerous prestigious awards and scholarships, including the President’s Award of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and a Fulbright Scholarship.
As a guest soloist, Dr. Deeb has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Lincoln Center in New York, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris. Alongside his concert career, he recorded the complete piano works of the composer Amin Nasser in a five-CD collection and has published piano method books based on traditional Arabic repertoire.
Dr. Deeb serves as a Teaching Associate at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he also supervises Master’s degree final projects.
