JAMD Scholarships & Awards

The Academy offers three types of internal scholarships:

  1. Need-based scholarships – Students may apply at the beginning of the academic year. Applications are reviewed according to financial criteria. Average support: 20%–45% of tuition. Not available to students receiving merit scholarships.
  2. Merit scholarships – A limited number of scholarships awarded based on grades, auditions, and dean recommendations. Support ranges from 50%–100% of annual tuition. Applications are not open.
  3. Community engagement scholarships – Students may contact the Community Unit at [email protected] to participate in artistic community activities, such as teaching children and youth, orchestra playing, choir singing, and educational work with at-risk youth. Scholarships range from NIS 3,500–10,000, depending on the scope of activity. Open also to students receiving need-based or merit scholarships.

Scholarship applications may be submitted only after completing JAMD registration, according to published deadlines and with all required documents. The Academy is also supported by donors whose contributions assist outstanding students and students with financial need. Recipients are selected based on faculty dean recommendations and the Academy Scholarship Committee’s decision.
