Drummer and composer Daniel Dor was born in Tel Aviv to Yuval Dor and Shlomit Aharon. Daniel shares his rhythmic methodology as both a performer and lecturer, demonstrating his approach in his albums Four Petals, The Garden Suite, and Found and Found, the latter produced in collaboration with Nitai Hershkovits.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with prominent artists such as Avishai Cohen (bass), Rejoicer, Chano Domínguez, Matisyahu, Gilad Hekselman, Noa (Achinoam Nini), Yoni Rechter, and others. He is the first-prize winner of the Rimon Jazz Competition and a recipient of scholarships from the Mifal HaPais Council for the Culture and Arts and the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (Sharett Grant).
