Yotam Silberstein is an acclaimed international jazz guitarist and composer who emerged as a major talent early in his career, being named Israel's "Jazz Musician of the Year" at the age of 21. After relocating to New York in 2005, he established himself as a prominent figure on the global jazz scene, collaborating with jazz giants such as James Moody, Curtis Fuller, Roy Hargrove, Pat Martino, Ron Carter, and many others. Yotam has performed as a member of numerous ensembles and recorded on albums led by jazz legends, including Monty Alexander, John Patitucci, David Sanborn, and Marcus Miller.
Silberstein has released over ten albums as a leader. His recent discography includes a duet album with jazz legend Ron Carter, following a quartet release featuring George Coleman, John Patitucci, and Billy Hart.
In addition to jazz, Yotam specializes in Brazilian, Mediterranean, and Arabic music, and composes Israeli music in Hebrew, which has been featured in a dedicated album release.
