Guy Frati

Guy Frati is an Israeli musical director, composer, pianist, orchestrator, and vocal coach. He holds an M.Mus. in Composition from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and graduated with distinction from the Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Musical Direction & Coaching at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
Frati currently teaches and leads the Musical Theatre Program at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. He has also taught at several of Israel's leading institutions for music and theatre, including Beit Zvi School of the Performing Arts, Nissan Nativ Jerusalem, Rimon School of Music, and Eidan Lipper's Musical Theatre Program, where he served as a vocal coach, repertoire instructor, and musical director.
His musical direction credits include Waitress, The Blue Bird, Dear Evan Hansen, and A Night in Paris at the Cameri Theatre. At Habima National Theatre, he served as Assistant Musical Director on Mika Sheli, Od Hozer HaNigun, and Yentl. For toMix, he was Musical Director, orchestrator, and conductor of Funny Girl, starring Miri Mesika. He also served as Vocal Coach for the Tel Aviv Theatre production of School of Rock.
In 2023, his debut original musical, Sonia, co-written with Shachar Shamai, premiered at the Haifa Theatre, featuring Miki Kam and the Revolution Orchestra.
In 2025, Frati and Shamai were commissioned to compose Chesed, an original work for orchestra, choir, and soloists, for the concert program Bach: Revolution Version, performed by the Moran Singers Ensemble and the Revolution Orchestra under the baton of Roy Oppenheim.
In 2026, he served as Musical Producer for Miki Kan, the new solo stage show by Miki Kam.
As an orchestrator and pianist, Frati has collaborated with many of Israel's leading orchestras, including the Haifa Symphony Orchestra and the Israeli Sinfonietta Be'er Sheva. He also was conductor for the international Zamir choir and managed the Ashkelon municipal conservatory. 
Frati is the recipient of the Israel Lottery Council for Culture & Arts Overseas Study Grant (2016–2017) and the AJA Ian Karten Scholarship (B'nai B'rith–Leo Baeck).
