Israeli conductor Gaddiel Dombrovner is an acclaimed conductor whose energetic performances and musical creativity have resonated with audiences around the world. Gadiel is the First Prize winner at the Koussevitzky International Conducting Competition in Italy (2022), First Prize and Orchestra Prize at the Turchak International Conducting Competition in Kiev (2017), First Prize at the Master Class Competition in Athens (2021), Second Prize at the BBCA Conductors Competition in England (2021), and Third Prize at the Blue Danube International Opera Conducting Competition in Bulgaria (2021).
From the 2026-27 season, Gaddiel is the Music Director of the Ben Dorit Symphony Orchestra and the Principal Guest Conductor at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Gaddiel is acting as Music Director of the “Yaakov Kling” Wind Orchestra in Ramat Gan, and the Music Director of the Conducting Masterclass in Constanta, Romania, which he founded in 2024, where he teaches conducting to conductors from all over the world.
Gaddiel has enjoyed success and has conducted orchestras from all over the world, such as the: Constanta Opera House Orchestra (Romania), Lviv Symphony Orchestra, Athens Philharmonia Orchestra, Stara Zagora State Opera (Bulgaria), Grosseto Symphony Orchestra (Italy), Silesian Philharmonic (Poland), National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Kunming International Philharmonic Orchestra (China), Varna State Opera, and in Israel the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Beersheba Sinfonietta, Ashdod Symphony Orchestra, and Jerusalem Street Orchestra.
Gaddiel also emerges as an opera conductor with productions such as "La Bohème", "Tosca", "Ballo in Maschera" and "Trovatore" with the Constanta State Opera, "Bluebeard's Castle" and "La Traviata" with the Stara Zagora State Opera, "Cavalleria Rusticana" and "Pagliacci" with the Varna National State Opera, "La Traviata" with the Ukrainian National Opera and the Kiev Conservatory, and more.
Gaddiel holds a master's degree in conducting from the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) in the class of conductor Carl Topilov and holds a bachelor's degree from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in conducting with Dr. Evgeny Tsirlin and in clarinet with Prof. Ilan Schul.
