Requirements for the Year 4 Final Exam / Graduation Recital in the Oriental Music Department

The requirements for the primary subject at the end of Year 4:

Students may take the graduation recital with a grade of 90 or higher in the primary subject and with the approval of the Department Head. The duration of the exam or recital will be approximately forty minutes. The requirements for the exam and the recital are defined identically:

Graduation Requirements for the Bachelor's Degree (B.Mus.) for Instrumentalists:

1. Samai
2. Longa
3. Modern piece
4. Taqasim with at least two modulations (3-5 minutes)

Graduation Requirements for the Bachelor's Degree (B.Mus.) for Singers:

1. Muwashshah
2. Dawr and / or Taqtuqa and / or Qasida
3. Mawwal
4. Modern song
