Admission Requirements for the Cross-Disciplinary Performance: Players Track

1. Israeli High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Written Exam

Theory:

• Intervals
• Chords
• Scales and Modes
• Transposition
• Treble clef and Bass clef
• Harmonic/Melodic analysis of a Jazz piece
• Dictation of melody
• Dictation of Jazz harmony
• Dictation of rhythm

3. Written Exam

The audition will consist of 3 pieces, different in style:

• Sheet Music/Chart is required
• Applicants should bring accompaniment if needed
• Applicants will indicate the pieces in the application form
• The committee may choose to listen to only parts of the prepared materials.

4. Documents

• Certificate of good health from a physician
• A recommendation letter (not mandatory)
