Inbar Walter Kalfa is a choreographer, dancer, and teacher of modern and contemporary dance. She holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Dance and Choreography from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
As a dancer and creator, she has performed in works by various choreographers and in a range of projects in Israel. She has also created independent dance works that have been presented at the Suzanne Dellal Centre, as well as at festivals and venues abroad. As part of her master’s degree studies, she won the Gertrud Kraus Choreography Competition.
Today, as an experienced dancer, she performs with the Etgalya Dance Company and in additional projects by independent choreographers. She co-founded and co-directs “Sadot – Bina of the Body,” a program combining dance, movement, creation, conscious awareness, and the Yemima method. The program enables women of all levels to draw closer to and deepen their connection with their body and soul through movement.
Inbar is also a Pilates and rehabilitative Pilates instructor, and holds a certificate in yoga instruction. She teaches dance in the Misgav Dance Department and prepares students for matriculation examinations in dance.
