Eran Reemy

Teaching Areas

Eran Reemy was born in Israel and began playing the piano at the age of six, later taking up the trumpet at twelve. He studied trumpet with Raphael Glaser and Robert Freer, both former members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and graduated from the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts. During his military service, he served as a trumpeter in the Israel Air Force Band.

Reemy earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Berlin University of the Arts, where he studied with Konradin Groth of the Berlin Philharmonic. While in Berlin, he was also a student at the Herbert von Karajan Academy and performed with the Berlin Philharmonic for two years.

From 1995 to 2002, he served as Principal Trumpeter of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. In the 2005–06 season, he joined the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

In addition to his orchestral work, Reemy appears as a soloist and chamber musician in Israel and abroad. He is also active as a conductor, having conducted the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and other ensembles.

Eran Reemy is a faculty member at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
