Chamber Music Program Applicants
During the first week of studies we will hold auditions for the program of outstanding students in Chamber Music in the name of Younes and Soraya Nazarian and for a scholarship in the name of Ilse Stammer from Zurich.
Students who wish to audition need to register by 13 PM on October 13 2013 in the office of the performance department with Rina Atias. The application must be submitted on the form providede here, or in the office along with the signature of the student’s main teacher.
The auditions are intended for students of Bachelors and Masters currently registered for studies in the following instruments:
Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello and winds: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Horn. Trumpet, Trombone and Tuba.
Audition Dates:
Strings – October 15 2013 – Starting at 16 in Room 221
Piano – October 14 2013 – starting at 9 AM – room 221
Winds – October 17 2013-Starting at 11 AM Room-TBA
Requirements
Up to 15 minutes of solo repertoire of the applicant’s choice. (Concerto, Sonata etc.) If the applicant wishes to play with an accompanist it should be arranged ahead of time.
