Mezzo-soprano Susana Poretsky is a special prize recipient of Operalia Competition. She performed with Plácido Domingoin Japan and America. Performances around the world include prestigious opera houses as the Metropolitan, La Scala, Arena di Verona with notable conductors as Mehta, Mazur, Tilson-Thomas, Ozawa, Sinopoli, Pappano and many more. Ms. Poretsky is alumni of Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance where she studied with Ms. Rachel Shulov. She has been a facaulty at the voice area of University of California, Santa Barbara and she nowresides in San Diego where she performs with the San Diego Opera, and is a member of the San Diego District at The Metropolitan Opera National Council Committee.
