
Anders Lagerqvist, violin
Educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm from where he graduated with a soloist diploma. He also studied in Vienna before he made his debut performing Bartók’s violin concerto no. 2 together with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
He is frequently performing with the most prominent Scandinavian musicians and actors, also in demand by Swedish orchestras and organizers of chamber music around the country. Among his frequent chambermusic collaborations are together with “European Chamberplayers” in Haag, and “Ensemble des Equilibres” in Marseille aswell as the festival “Musicalta” in Rouffach, France. He has tought masterclasses in Lima, Peru and in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
2019 awaits concerts in Holland aswell collaboration in Jerusalem with the reknown violinist and professor mr. Lihay Bendayan
Anders Lagerqvist has been the artistic director of the successful concert venue Musik på Udden (‘Music at the cape’) in collaboration with Prince Eugene’s Waldemarsudde since 2012.
