She completed her Ph.D. at Bar-Ilan University on the subject of creative group work in music classrooms in elementary schools.
Since 2006, Dr. Shmuelof has been a faculty member at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where she lectures in core courses such as theories of music education, practical methodology, and curriculum design. Dr. Shmuelof has presented her work at conferences in Israel, including those organized by the Ministry of Education, the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and the Mofet Institute. She has also presented internationally, at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and at the Early Childhood Music Education conference in Helsinki.
