The emphasis of this track is performance of chamber music. Students will form a chamber ensemble and will focus on performing the wide and varied chamber music repertoire, under the guidance of senior academic staff from the Faculty of Performing Arts.
The program includes:
- Weekly Instrumental lesson plus two weekly lessons in chamber music
- Two yearly concentrated sessions of one week each with the Jerusalem Quartet
- Master classes given by senior teachers and artists from Israel and from abroad
- Opportunity to apply to Israel Musetica program run in conjunction with JAMD
- Concert performances
Applicants accepted to the program will receive a full scholarship for two years in the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Program for Excellence in Chamber Music.
