A graduate of Beit-Zvi - the Academy of Performing Arts.

In 2006-2007, with the help of a special grant from Maestro Daniel Barenboim, Keren studied opera in Berlin and sang the role of Nanetta in Verdi's Falstaff to rave reviews.

In 2011 she appeared in the title role of Bizet's Carmen with the Haifa Symphony conducted by Noam Sheriff. She has appeared with the Westchester Philharmonic of New York, the Berlin Symphony, the Italian Symphony, the Bangkok Symphony, the Israel Philharmonic and the Jerusalem Camerata, among others, under the baton of Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Noam Sheriff, Avner Biron, Arie Vardi, Andres Mustonen, Lior Shambadal, Frederic Chaslin, Yaron Gottfried and more. Her performances have led her from Israel to the USA, Russia, China, Thailand, England, France, Italy, Croatia, Poland, Belgium, Germany, Finland & Estonia.

In 2006 Keren Hadar released her first CD of songs by Mordechai Zeira, with Rafi Kadishson and Dan Ettinger, and in 2007 she released the CD, Dark Am I, with a fantasy on The Song of Songs by Ella Milch-Sheriff. In 2010 Keren collaborated with horn player Alon Reuven and pianist Yoni Farhi in a CD released in Great Britain "Horn Quest". In 2013 she recorded her fourth CD with Moshe Zorman and Asaf Roth In The High Windows. In 2017 two CDs were published - Songs of Wine & Love by Josef Bardanashvili with The Israel Camerata, and Nigun - with Daniel Akiva and in 2019 DE-GA by Tal-Haim Samnon.

Keren has sung in Hanoch Levin's drama Requiem and in the Israeli opera And the Rat Laughed by Ella Milch-Sheriff and Nava Semel at the Cameri Theater.

Portrayed Job's wife in Job by Yossi Yzraely alongside Sasson Gabai at the Incubator Theater.

At The Tzavta Theatre she portrayed Michal and Batsheva alongside Eli Gorenstein in David in Love by Yehoshua Sobol and Ayala Asherov.

At The Hebrew Theater she portrayed Shoshana Demari's daughter in Or and Roni Leibovitch's wife in the musical Haofnobank, and these days she plays in the musical Ha’isha She’iti, all three by Gadi Tzdaka.

Keren is a winner of the Schloss Rheinsberg Kammeroper Singing Competition (Germany) and is an Israel Cultural Excellence Foundation (ICExcellence) chosen artist.

Keren is the mother of twins Eyal and Noa.
