Shlomit Fundminsky is a choreographer, researcher of movement improvisation, dancer and dance teacher. Performs and leads workshops in dance centers, leading festivals in Israel and around the world. Graduated first degree B.Ed and a master's degree M.Dance in choreography. Currently a lecturer and head of the Choreography Focus in The Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem. She was an artist and guest lecturer on behalf of the BAMAH organization at the San Jose State University in the USA.
She won scholarships and awards, including the Ministry of Education award for young creators and the Ministry of Culture award for performing the solo 'Big Hand Little Hand'. She was a partner in the artistic management of the "Shades in Dance" festival of the Suzanne Dellal Center. Fundaminsky creates interactive dance works for children and youth in partnership with Einat Gantz with which they perform throughout Israel; Directs the "Shlombal workshops" - studies of release technique, improvisation and performance in Suzanne Dellal; Dances in the improvisation collective OKTET
