Adi Zalinger Faig is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher of African dance, specializing in and researching traditional West African dance since 2010. She gained her knowledge through studies with the Ballet Merveilles De Guinea in Conakry, Guinea, as well as in Ghana, Mali, and Burkina Faso. Additionally, she studied at the Sandciel School of Contemporary Circus. In the past, she danced with the groups Terram and Bangoura.
Currently, she is the founder and choreographer of the AfroYaffo Ensemble, a contemporary music and dance group inspired by West African traditions. Additionally, she organizes workshops and conferences with international teachers and leads the development of African dance in Israel.
