The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance offers graduate students a unique international and multi-cultural environment for study and for personal and artistic growth.
We offer a variety of study tracks leading to the Master of Music (M.Mus.) and to the Master of Dance (M.Dance) degrees, as well as a Ph.D. program in composition in collaboration with the Hebrew University.
Dancers, vocalists, instrumentalists, composers, conductors and educators together form a lively and creative community where each member enjoys artistic freedom within her discipline and many opportunities to interact with graduate students from other disciplines.
Students are encouraged to formulate their personal artistic statement through researching the roots and cultural traditions of their discipline, while at the same time they are constantly exposed to the most current trends, brought to them by our internationally renowned faculty and by a large number of distinguished guests every year.
Our graduate students are involved in various innovative projects, aligned with our goal of cultivating a cultural, educational and artistic leadership in Israel and worldwide.
The M.Dance degree offers specialization tracks in Dance and in Choreography.
The M.Mus. Degree is open to composers, conductors and instrumentalists in the styles of Classical music, Jazz and Oriental music and to music educators.
The Graduate Program offers a number of classes in English each semester. English proficiency is required for all Master's Degree programs.
