Jerusalem Quartet as Quartet in Residence

The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance is pleased to announce the appointment of the renowned Jerusalem Quartet as Quartet in Residence. The Quartet will be present at JAMD twice during the 2022-23 academic year, each time for one week, and will hold Master Classes for ensembles in the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Program of Excellence in Chamber Music.

Master’s Degree (M.Mus) – Classical Performance Track, with a Major in Chamber Music

The emphasis of this track is performance of chamber music. Students will form a chamber ensemble and will focus on performing the wide and varied chamber music repertoire, under the guidance of senior academic staff from the Faculty of Performing Arts.
The program includes:
  • Weekly Instrumental lesson plus two weekly lessons in chamber music
  • Two yearly concentrated sessions of one week each with the Jerusalem Quartet
  • Master classes given by senior teachers and artists from Israel and from abroad
